This was the second offense for the Congressman.
In response to a number of sources, Congressman Madison Cawthorne, a Republican from North Carolina, was caught attempting to move safety with a loaded gun at Charlotte Douglas Worldwide Airport on Tuesday morning.
This was the second time the controversial Congressman has been stopped attempting to get a weapon via airport safety.
TSA officers noticed the gun on the checkpoint and referred to as the airport police.
Cawthorne was issued a quotation by the Charlotte Mecklenburg Police for possessing a harmful weapon on metropolis property.
He was later launched, and the CMPD took possession of the firearm, which is regular process, the police stated.
In response to the TSA, people could be fined as much as $13,000 for a second offense.
The Congressional workplace didn’t instantly reply to ABC Information’ request for remark.
