One particular person was killed in a fireplace at a home in Glassell Park on Saturday morning, officers stated.
Los Angeles Fireplace Division spokeswoman Margaret Stewart stated a fireplace broke out at about 9:50 a.m. within the 2600 block of West Crestmoor Place and destroyed the house in a mountainous space.
The person who was killed is believed to have lived within the house, Stewart stated. The identification of the particular person has not been launched.
No different accidents had been reported.
Stewart stated the reason for the fireplace was being investigated.
