A person armed with a gun and fatally shot throughout a confrontation with Los Angeles police in Koreatown on Thursday has been recognized.
LAPD Captain Aaron Ponce stated 24-year-old Marvin Kua was shot within the 700 block of South Berendo Avenue at 8:15 a.m. by police in response to stories of a lethal weapon assault.
In line with the county coroner’s workplace, Kua died on the spot.
A gun has been recovered on the spot. LAPD officers didn’t say whether or not Cua fired on the officers, or what number of officers fired their weapons through the confrontation.
The investigation into the taking pictures continues.
