A Fresno man is going through arson and homicide fees after being arrested on suspicion of setting a home on hearth, which killed his niece and nephew and severely injured their mom.
Philimon “Robert” Hurtado, 29, was arrested Tuesday after the Fresno Police Division stated he admitted to beginning the hearth “as a result of he needed to kill everybody in the home.”
Police stated Hurtado’s 5-month-old nephew, Calix Hurtado, and 18-month-old niece Catalia Hurtado died within the hearth.
